 Job Title: Parts and Service Specialist

Peak Powersports / Indian and KTM of Oakville
We are a certified Indian Motorcycle, Polaris ORV/Snowmobile, Slingshot and KTM dealership that offers parts and service in Oakville. We cater to the motorcycle, Slingshot, ATV, UTV, side by side and snowmobile market.

Job Summary: The Parts and service specialist assists in running the parts and service counter, supporting the department by providing outstanding customer service both internally and externally.

Desired Skills
 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Greet customers, respond to phone calls and emails.
• Consistently provide excellent customer service
• Answer customer inquiries including cross referencing parts using online tools
• Use inventory management systems to look up parts for customer and service department orders
• Upselling Service, parts, garments and accessories
• Restocking the parts area
• Listen to customers to determine their parts and service needs while also offering additional parts/accessories to fit their needs
• Provide estimates as required
• Input customer and order information and verify information is accurate
• Responsible for invoicing
• Ordering parts, stocking shelves, picking parts
• Be the service department’s primary line of communication with clients
• Apply for warranty coverage, track application, and follow through with process
• Schedule service work
• Inform clients of additional recommended or required services
• Ability to work in very fast-paced environment
• Other duties as required
Qualifications:
• 1 + years relevant parts counter experience and administrative/customer service experience.
• Comfortable working in a retail and Powersports shop atmosphere
• Customer service focused
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Fluent in English to a very high standard and possess strong communication skills, as liaison with clients and colleagues is a large focus within the job
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as within a team
• Computer literate; experience with (Excel, Word, & Windows Based Software)
• Lift at least 50 lbs over head
• Possess a passion for riding off road vehicles (ATV/Sleds) and motorcycles an asset
